Instead of establishing schools in the middle east, why not strengthen the public schools here in the states?
The middle east wants us out– so why not focus on what’s internal rather than external? I just transferred from a private school to a public one, and the education here is a joke! It’s so sad!
Good point; Lets not forget that we are 10 trillion in debt and the dollars dropping in value everyday. To understand the absurdity of all our foriegn aid and world policing, you first must come to the realization that The US is in serious economic trouble. OUR MONETARY POLICY iS ROBBING US BLIND SO IS FORIEGN AID. Wake up GUYS dig deeper educate yourself beyond mainstream media
How safe did Americans feel before 911? How safe after 911? How safe after Obama wants better trained First Responders? You only need them after an attack! It’s sad that there are so many people who live life not realizing the very real threats to our safety and security. Now a bunch of libs are going to say….Fear Mongering! It’s better to walk through life with your eyes open than closed.
You are obviously very, very misinformed. All polls showed that Americans felt much safer after the invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq. The country as it stands after 9-11 is not safe, but it is safer. This Obama guy always speaks of two things: Change and Hope. Now, throughout history hope has meant nothing, and too much change has been always for the worst. The Republican party, and the Conservatives within it, worry that people like Obama, with no experience and only “hope” will fail.
Political Science is in action — a very interesting election, just think that way, a little bit less than 30 years ago Afro-Americans were no allowed even to vote, segregation was so widespread in public areas. Now, Afro-American is President of the USA!!!!! To live is to see!
obamas answer could also be a question. did the americans feel safer after invading iraq and afghanistan? certainly not! its the republicans instrument to plant more fear in the conscience of the american people, so that they can offer a “way of protecting” the nation.
He’s a great guy and I DO support him, but I don’t know if giving aid to these Muslim countries to rebuild everything will necessarily make them start to “like” us and, in effect, make this war effort “easier.”
Like I said, I do support him, but I’m just trying to approach this with an open mind.
I believe in this candidate so strongly that I slept 1 hour and woke up at 3:30 to go to his national campaign headquarters and man the voter hotlines. Obama, all of us in Chicago are pulling for you.
this is the only candidate I would trust to stop the continues killing of civilians in iraq and go after the real threat where our troops are left alone by the US (afghanistan).
If you want to feel save you should not vote for candidates who supported the killing of hundreds of thousands innocent people in iraq because that will certainly not have made you saver.

Is he talking about a ‘Hearts & Minds’ campaigne of the military rather than pulling the troops out? If yes, that would one hell of a task for them.
