Suicide bombing in the name of god?
god demanding the death of gays?
offering your two daughters to be raped by a town?
stoning your kids?
burning somebody alive because they believe in a different god?

There is nothing moral about that, if you ask me.

You hit upon one of the great misconceptions of atheism–that it can be equated with communism, totalitarianism, and other dangerous belief systems. It has, of course, no such implications. None of the great dictators did what they did in the name of atheism; rather, they were led by insidious ideologies (Hitler’s ideas on racial superiority, for example) or other self-serving philosophies.

Look at the morality of “godless” Western Europe and compare it that of “Christian” American.
