Part of the problem is the public’s willingness to treat elections like a game, so the networks, being a business, serve it up like one. People need to get it through their heads that this isn’t reality TV, it’s actually reality, and the decisions that your elected REPRESENTATIVES make affect you.
Treat it all like a game of survivor and one of the guys you’re watching back stab each other’s gonna end up with all the $ in the end. (and you won’t be getting any of it despite paying for the show)

Just like when Bush and Rove started the rumor that John McCain’s daughter from Bangladesh, Bridget was his illegitimate black daughter in Southern states. It cost him an election. They push polled using the phone and would ask, “If you knew that John McCain had a child out of wedlock who was black, would you vote for him?” They didn’t come right out and say it was true. Race is always a big issue in some states. To complain about getting caught at it, is ridiculous.

I say this in almost every TYT video. Dems, Repubs, it’s all WWE. There all puppets including Obama. Presidents are selected NOT elected. Mr. Obama, a balanced budget would be actual change, and I hope you do bring the spending under control like Bill Clinton did, or Ron Paul would. Obama says he will focus on closing the national debt gap, I hope this is true! so far both parties are the same (Republicans and Democrats) in that both want to increase spending for benefit of their own partisan interests. Please bring real change and a balanced budget! The longer the national deficit is ignored and expands, harder it will hit us.

Perhaps he was implying that people are more focused on candidates and attack each other’s potential weaknesses when they are in a race against each other, but are on the same party after elections, and for the most part are on the same page.

I guess it’s “admirable?” to hear a politician admit that politicians would sell their souls for a vote? Better than someone trying to convince us that they stick only to their morals.
Does it make it less scummy? No. It’s just more proof that politics are skewed when they admit “this is what you people fall for, so we do it!”
