Pulling out of Iraq was NOT supposed to be immediate!! …at least Barack Obama NEVER made that promise! Maybe you are thinking of that politically, historically, & socially ignorant bastard Ron Paul, or perhaps Dennis Kucinich, but Barack Obama never made any such comment, promise, or even gave any such indication!

I am stating the obvious facts. You judge a tree by it’s fruit. Watch what fruits are produced on the Obama tree. They will NOT be what he promised the American people. Your linking of Obama to bush’s legacy of failure is as cheap as if Bush prepared an Executive order on January 19th lifting the ban on stem cell funding and obama signed it on the 20th, it would be an indication of obama adhering to the policies of the Bush Admin when Its Obama who always supported stemcels and Bush who banned funding
Its as rediculus as praising bush for executing a surge strategy that brought down violence in iraq when his incompetence brought that violence in the first place

Who’s Idea was it to set a timeline for Withdrawal?? Democrats. George Bush Finally Set a Timeline, IT WAS WHAT DEMOCRATS HAD CALLED FOR AND PLACED IN THIER FUNDING BILLS SINCE THEY WERE ELECTED IN 06, TIMELINE FOR WITHDRAWAL AND REPUBLICANS WENT OUT OF THIER WAY TO DENY THEM A TIMELINE.
Well now that Bush signed a timeline and Obama plans to withdraw alittle faster you seem to accuse him of following in Bush’s steps..But its Bush who came around to Obama’s thinking not the otherway around.

Well it would seem that its bush who came to obama’s understanding by signing a day for withdrawal. Obama is withdrawing alot faster though.
As for Gitmo, obama planned it closed in one year, how this was bush’s plan, i dont know what area of your ass you pulled that from.

The main thing is that the US is now run not by saints but by people who are at least sane. They are the usual amoral power-brokers, but they are not the sadistic, incompetent, almost psychotic barbarians of the Bush adiministartion.
There will be arguments about bases and centrifuges, but it is in the interest of Iran, the US, Iraqis etc. that things get better.
The invasion was an act of criminal insanity, but no one will go to jail, or be locked up in an insane asylum, for doing it..

Give it time. If Iraq wants us completely out they can make it so but they probably also want some help in protecting certain areas
This new bill says that only iraq can allow 50k people to stay, its not up to us. I am accepting of that
I would love pullout of all countries, but to never be happy because your views dont 100% agree with the presidents is such a waste of stress.
